Spent a wonderful month here, very comfortable & enjoyable.

The McNelis Family (Niagara Canada)
Spent a lovely vacation in your beautiful home. We were stunned by the spacious ?ness & delighted with the lanai door opening & increasing the area.
The weather was a bit cool but it was warmer than the Niagara area where we come from. We will miss the pool & spa & the boat traffic that added to the ambience.
Hope to visit again soon.

Canetti’s & Grannu Wood (S. Yorkshire England)
Visited for the 2nd time. Had lovely (Windy) weather, 80’s + whole fortnight except Sunday (and for English peoples, never seen so much rain in a short time). Hired a boat for first week and socked up the sun for the rest. Will miss the sunbathing and the sun. Hope to get home as the whole of UK + Europe airport closed down due to the Icelandic volcano.
See you all soon!

Romsbottom Family (Lancashire England)
Our 2nd visit, just as wonderful. A really relaxing hose & surrounding. Weather is hot & sunny. Hired a boat & caught trout & then BBQ’d. Also hired kayaks (double $45) from Tarpon Point Marina (end of Pelican Dr.) & did Mangrove Trail for 2 hrs – peaceful, lovely – worth a go. As usual, excellent food to be found – Morettis on Matlache, book a table next to water outside & watch the sunset, very beautiful & relaxing, especially with wine in hand, they do lovely fish specials too. Rumrunner’s that bit special food & wine, everything done with an unusual twist – our favorite place tested (and relaxed atmosphere &good Crab legs. Coconut Point Shopping, good park at top - walk down Fashion Dr. (Dillard at the end). Must visit Bell Tower Shops & stop at the Fresh Market for food for BBQ’s & lunch – enormous range of fresh fish & meat etc.. Needless to say, we will be back.
Thank you again – Had a Ball! – With our very best wished!

Dinsmore’s, Irwin & Pidgeon’s (Portsmouth England)
Had fantastic time in this lovely villa. Weather fantastic, sunny and 90+ everyday.
Recommended Outback for dinner on NE Pine Island Road. Fishing great, best time to catch is sunrise and sunset using shrimp and lire’s (especially a popper). Bait shop on Chiquita Blvd. (up Cape Coral Pkwy and turn left into Chiquita).
Kids loved the pool, mom loved sitting on dock in sunshine!

What can we say? This was our 1st time in Florida, but definitely won’t be our last. Wondering how any future stays can ever top this one. Your villa was like a dream come true! This had to be the first time we ever stayed anywhere on vacation where we felt at home. The attention to detail and careful planning of every part of the place screams of ‘JPT’. Amassing pool area with no bugs, Jacuzzi, fans everywhere, awesome sunset, private dock/deck, loved all the switches.
Sanibel/Captiva & Fort Myers beaches. Paesano’s Market (v. nice). Seashell Museum & seashells everywhere we turned was impressive. The shopping was crazy, Miromar, Tanger, Edison Mall, ...
Thank you so much for opening your home to us.

The Allen’s (Derbyshire UK)
We have had a brilliant time. Having stayed in Florida many times, this is one of the nicest villas in a great location. Temperature in the mid 90’s, tropical depression ‘Bonnie’ swept by unnoticed!
Best restaurant: Marker 92.
Saw wild dolphins, a manatee and its calf ... Amazing!
A few suggested improvements:
Foliage around the pool is need of pruning.
Cutlery in kitchen needs replacing.
Beach chairs, umbrella, ice packs etc.. would be a bonus.
Thanks!

Thomas Family (Helensbourgh, Edinburgh, Otterham UK)
Night visit to Florida – first in Cape Coral.
Villa was very clean on arrival with lots of plus points – plenty of towels, beach towels, and items of kitchen items.
As mentioned by other visitors, foliage around outside of pool area could be tidied. We did wonder why the gardeners clipped the beautiful purple flower from the side hedge but did nothing to tidy away or cut down the dead palm leaves. Also the Kiki hut is in need of repair/renewal to the roof and the frayed and damaged ropes round the dock area could be replaced or renovated all together. Have stayed in villa where the pool and spa were much warmer, so disappointed that we were unable to use the pool spa at night for a relaxing drink. Wondered if the payment for pool heating was worth it. Almost paradise and we had a lovely time visiting Sanibel, Miami, The Everglade. Bought beach parasol as not provided – the next visitors can use them.
Owner’s comment:
Thanks for your comments; this is the only way to truly understand visitor’s experience in their stay. We are doing our best to fix issues and elevate the quality of your vacation.
The Kiki roof was replaced and the rope around the deck have been replaced (2010-11).
Pool heater was working to spec but a new Hi performance Pool heater was installed to speed up the time it take to get to the right temperature; it is also much quieter! (2010-11).
New gardeners have been hired. Palm trees in the pool area have been replaced by plants (2011-11).
Not mentioned in your comments the house air conditioning used to freeze when doors are left open; then the ice in the main unit stopped the cool air flow; the main unit was replaced by newer model hopping to contain this situation. The best solution is still to keep the doors closed when the air conditioning is on. (2011-11)
Thank for equipment left for next visitors!

Keith & Margaret Romsbotton (Lancashire England)
Hi again! Our 3rd visit. It’s now just like coming home, albeit with much better weather, which has been great, hot & sunny. Posed myself at the dock this time. (new house being build over the water!) but plan B was lovely, visited Sanibel beaches, our favorite was Gulf State Park, never busy, it’s worth a call in to The Info Center, just over the causeway, very helpful, info maps etc... Also Bowditch beach, Fort Myers, facing pier, turn right to the end, follow beach right around (also quiet).
Our favorite Restaurant, still RumRunners, lovely specials, some night: live band opposite at The Joint, gets very busy but good to.
Listen with a glass of wine, lots of dolphins to be seen, take a trip jam. Tarpon Point Marina on Sundays 10:15 – noon on Silver King boat. Also of course, manage to visit shops, Miromar Outlets, Coconut Point. Also visited Naples nice beach, lovely shopping, restaurants down 5th Ave.
Thank you, once again, we have had a truly lovely time; will be back after a visit to the Keys in Mai 2011!
Best wishes to you all!
